How it works

Build the answer
Instead of typing, your child drags number tiles into a fraction frame to build their answer. It feels natural, and it means they are thinking about the structure of the fraction, not just the arithmetic.
The game checks everything
FishyFractions checks whether the answer is right and whether it is fully simplified. A correct but unsimplified answer — say, 4/8 instead of 1/2 — prompts your child to simplify further. That one moment teaches a skill that comes up at every stage.
